Guntings String Guide is committed to making this site usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology.
What we aim for
We build pages with semantic HTML, visible keyboard focus indicators, labeled form controls, and text alternatives for illustrations and diagrams. We aim to meet a WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard of contrast and usability across the site, and the comparator and article pages are designed to work with keyboard navigation alone, not just a mouse or touchscreen.
Reduced motion and core content
This site respects your operating system's reduced-motion preference. Core editorial content, including every instrument profile and guide article, is available directly in the page's HTML and does not require JavaScript to be read. Interactive features such as the comparator, the live filtering in our guide explorer, and saved comparisons do require JavaScript to function.
Known limitations
As with most sites, we expect to find and fix accessibility issues over time. If you encounter a barrier using any part of this site with a screen reader, keyboard, or other assistive technology, we want to know about it.
Contact us about accessibility
Please report accessibility issues through our Contact page, including the page URL and a description of the problem and the assistive technology you were using, so we can investigate and address it.
