This page explains how Guntings String Guide currently uses cookies and similar browser storage.
What we use today
Guntings String Guide's comparator tool uses your browser's local storage, not cookies, to remember comparisons you build on this site, all keyed under names starting with guntings: so they are easy to recognize in your browser's developer tools. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Essential cookies
We may use a minimal set of strictly necessary cookies required for basic site functionality and security. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
No advertising or analytics cookies at this time
At present, this site does not run advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes in the future, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy in advance to describe exactly what is added and why.
Managing cookies and local storage
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and local storage through their settings or developer tools. Clearing local storage for this site will remove any saved comparisons.
